Clean Chit For CJI In Sexual Harassment Case

The 3-Member House Inquiry Panel headed by Justice SA Bobde have offered clean chit for Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi in connection with the Sexual Harassment Case. This committee comprises of Justices Indira Banerjee and Indu Malhotra.
A judgement favourable to Top Judge was given as the Panel found no substance in the sexual harassment allegations made by a Former Employee of Supreme Court.
On April 19th, The Ex-Employee submitted an affidavit to 22 Supreme Court Judges against the CJI. When the informal proceedings were happening, The Complainant walked out in protest against the denial of permission for her Lawyer to accompany her.
After CJI received clean chit, The Complainant said: 'My worst fears have come true Today and all hopes of attaining justice has been shattered. I am now extremely scared. Neither justice nor protection was given to Me inspite of placing all the evidence before the panel. Myself and My Family remain vulnerable to ongoing attack'.
