Legendary Telugu personalities are shamed in Samskrithika Niketan, the first of its kind museum showcasing the ancient and modern history of the Telugus in the port city Vizag. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu yesterday inaugurated the World Telugu Museum(WTM) in the Port City.
The World Telugu Samskrithika Niketan is located atop picturesque Kailasagiri Hills.The museum displays medallions of 70 prominent persons from both Telugu speaking states. The museum has medallion of 70 prominent Telugus.but some of the scribes who visited the site said some of the works are pathetic.The organizers did not take proper care in presenting the pictures of the legendary leaders.
In the CM's gallery, one of the medallions is not recognizable and the other two -- NT Rama Rao and YS Rajasekhar Reddy are hard to recognize them.
Samkrithika Niketan is a joint venture of World Telugu Federation and Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority. VUDA has contributed Rs 6.27 cr apart from providing five acre land to the museum while the rest was pooled by the federation.
