YSRCP Supremo, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has reached the temple city Antarvedi on Friday. The Chief Minister has inaugurated the newly built wooden chariot of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple.

Jagan has reached the Anatrvedi Fishing Harbour helipad at 11:30 AM today and reached the Temple Rajagopuram. Temple priests have blessed Jagan.

After taking part in Archana and Mantrapushpam programs, CM Jagan has inaugurated the new wooden chariot that was built with an expenditure of over one crore.

As promised earlier, the AP government has handed over the new wooden chariot to the temple. The new seven-storey wooden chariot is 42 feet tall. The government has replaced the chariot in three months.

The Antarvedi chariot incident has kickstarted a political storm in Andhra Pradesh. The 60-year-old chariot was gutted in a fire at the temple back in December 2020. The temple authorities have used the old chariot during special occasions.
