CM Jagan Chaired A Review Meeting On Preventives To Combat The Virus
By: Tupaki Desk | 31 July 2020 11:20 AM GMTIn the wake of the ongoing pandemic ringing danger bells in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy chaired a review meeting to discuss the preventives that have to be taken to contain the virus in the state.
This marks the second review meeting in the week chaired by Jagan Mohan Reddy to discuss the prevailing situations in the state.
CM Jagan started the review meeting through a video conference from the Chief Minister camp office in Tadepalli.
Speaking at the meeting, Jagan said the scarcity of beds should nor arise in the state and directed the concerned officers to monitor the hospitals that are dedicated to treat the pandemic patients.
Jagan stressed about improving the facilities in the state-run hospitals like Guntur Government Hospital(GGH) and appointing more staff members to meet future needs in treating the patients.
CM Jagan asked the authorities to run a campaign to create awareness of plasma donation which helps in treating the pandemic patients. He added that plasma donors will receive Rs 5,000 in the state.
