KCR Announces Another Great Scheme

Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao brought smiles on the faces of farmers by offering them financial assistance of Rs 4000 per acre with Rythu Bandhu scheme. Now, He announced yet another massive scheme in the best interest of farmers in the state.
Each Farmer in Telangana in the age group of 18 to 59 years will get a Life Insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh. None of the Farmers need to pay a single rupee as premium to avail this benefit. Telangana Government will take the responsibility of paying premium every year on August 1st.
TRS Government entered into an agreement with LIC for implementation of this first of it's kind scheme in the country. This Scheme will roll out from August 15th, 2018. Insurance Bonds will be distributed to farmers after 15th of August. Insured Amount will be handed over to the nominee within 10 days from the date of death.
KCR feels this scheme will be of great use to small and marginal farmers who account for 93 percent in Telangana. LIC lauds TRS Government for coming forward to implement such a remarkable scheme.
