Coal Scam: Dasari & Other Accused granted bail!

The Special Court on Friday granted bail to former Minister of State for Coal Dasari Narayana Rao, former Coal Secretary HC Gupta, industrialist Naveen Jindal, ex-Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda and other accused in coal block allocation case.
While granting the bail, The Court made it clear all the accused weren't allowed to leave the country without prior permission from it. Next Hearing of the case has been slated on June 1st, 2015.
In the charge sheet filed by CBI, Naveen Jindal is behind the conspiracy of the coal block allocation in favour of his two group firms Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) and Gagan Sponge Iron Pvt Ltd (GSIPL). The Investigation Agency alleges Jindal had promised Congress support to Madu Koda Government in Jharkhand in return for recommending for allocation of Amarkonda Murgadangal coal block to his companies. Mr. Jindal has bribed Union Ministers and many government officials for the deal.
