The violent standoff between the Chinese and Indian troops in Indian territory resulting in claiming the lives of an Indian Army colonel and two Indian Soldiers at Galwan Valley in Ladakh.
Colonel Santosh Babu who was a Commanding officer of 16 Bihar regiment was martyred in the standoff. Colonel Santosh Babu hails from Suryapet town of Telangana.
Responding to the death of Colonel Santosh, her mother Manjula said that she is proud of her son who fought for the country and martyrized, and as a mother, she is left heartbroken.
Talking to media, Manjula was in tears and said that she was informed with the news today afternoon as her daughter-in-law thought she couldn't bear the sad news. Her daughter in law was informed about the news last night.
