We have read about many legends that Kings and officers used to travel in masks around the cities to know the state of people and roads and other welfare systems provided for them. Ever did you think such legends would come true in our social world?
Well, an young collector decided to do so. Normally, any government officer of administrator rank, will have security running behind him trying to restrict the threat for his life, but this man decided to ditch all the protocols and move around freely trying to get the information first hand rather than waiting for his assistants and contractors to 'manage' it for him.
His name is Jayashankar and he is district collector of Bhupalapalli. He travelled on his bike in the mid-night from 10:00 PM to 02:30 AM, with a helmet around the roads of the mandal to take first hand information on the status of roads, drinages and also asked people about their problems, directly. Well, people are in awe this simple yet strong officer.
