Comedian AVS is no more - pics

He has been suffering with Liver related ailment and was under treatment in Lakidi kapool private Hospital. He was introduced to the film industry by director Bapu through his film Mister Pellam in the year 1993. With his first film Mr. Pellam, he became a comedy star in Telugu film. He has acted nearly 500+ movies in his 19 years of his film career.He was last seen in Sriya starrer Pavitra movie
AVS, as he is fondly called by fans, was first diagnosed with liver-related issues in 2007. A year later, when doctors had lost all hope, he miraculously lived after his daughter donated a part of her liver. But shockingly he developed the same old symptoms recently and joined hospital. But this time the trouble extended to kidneys.Both the kidneys were failed and he was on ventilator from past few hours. Finally he breathed his last.
He also directed 4 films including Super Heroes, Ori Ni Prema Bangaaram Kaanu..!, Room Mates, and Kothimooka. He worked as General Secretary to the Movie Artistes Association for 3 terms unanimously. He had lived in many characters as Hero, Villian, comedian and character roles.He is one of the ardent supporter of n Telugudesam party
