Alleging that the high prices of movie tickets are making common people unable to watch the movies in theatres, the Andhra Pradesh government issued a Government Order bringing down the ticket prices. Now the industry has another thing to worry about.

Permission for pre-release events of Nandamuri Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy and Megastar Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya was denied at the last moment forcing the makers of the film to look for alternative venues for the events.

Talking about the ongoing developments, Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Ramakrishna alleged that the Chief Minister is targeting the film industry and a particular community. He also asked why he is taking such decisions.

He used some strong words against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and said that he is stopping the film events of Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi like Saindhava. He is also said that the Chief Minister is lighting Ravana Kashtam in the state.

Ravana Kaastham is a term used to talk about continuous atrocities and wrongdoings. He might have used teh term to express his anger on various things as he said that Jagan is not leaving anything in the state and is targeting them.

The Communist Party of India (CPI) veteran said that it is understandable that Pawan Kalyan's films are targeted as he is in politics full time and asked why Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi are targeted without any reason.
