Complaints of ballot snatching, impersonation in TANA elections

TANA elections in the US have been witnessing unsavoury scenes of late. There are clashes, snatching away of the ballot boxes and proxy voting in the TANA elections. Stealing of ballot papers were reported from places like Virginia and Maryland.
Such malpractices are unheard of. This is unprecedented, said a TANA member. TANA is a not-for-profit organisation. Such being the case, the kind of unsavoury incidents only indicate that there is more to iit than meets the eye. Some TANA members alleged that the people want to be TANA office bearers because of the perks that come with it. The perks include business class travel between India and the US and meeting VIPs including the PM and the President of the country. Some TANA functionaries have brought bad name not just to themselves but to the very organisation itself, complained a senior member of TANA.
