By: Tupaki Desk | 30 May 2019 12:19 PM GMTAfter the humiliating defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls, Congress Party decided to remain inaccessible to media for a month. The National Party won't be sending any of its representatives for Television Debates during this one month period.
Congress Communications In-Charge Randeep Singh Sujrewala informed about the decision taken by the High Command. He also requested all the Media Channels and Editors not to invite Congress Representatives for their shows during this phase.
In 2019 Elections, Congress could manage only 52 MP Seats. Rahul Gandhi & his Team might have been more than happy to win at least 100 seats. To their misery, The tally had just surpassed the half-century mark and Rahul even offered to resign as Congress President due to the failure. He may continue in the Top Post only for the next three to fours months, until a replacement was found by the leadership.
Congress Party has nothing much to defend itself after two humiliating defeats in a row. Instead of getting roasted in the TV Studios, Congress preferred to boycott media for sometime.
