CM In Dilemma To Sack Star Hero For Heroine
By: Tupaki Desk | 28 Oct 2015 11:37 AM GMTKarnataka Chief Minister K Siddaramaiah now lands in a big trouble and found himself in the middle of a star war. Siddarmaiah is planning to reshuffle his cabinet and he is in a dilemma over choosing between two top Kannada stars, actress Ramya or veteran hero Ambarish.
Ambarish has had a long stint in politics with over two decades of experience. Siddaramayya appointed Ambarish as Housing Minister in state cabinet. He was also a former Union minister. Other side Ramya won as MP from Mandya earlier. As per reports Congress high command is learnt to have suggested Siddaramaiah to induct former Mandya MP Ramya as minister in his Cabinet by removing Ambarish.
Siddaramaiah is in a big dilemma as both the actors have a large fan base across the state. If Ramya is given ministerial berth, this may upset Ambareesh and her followers. Ambarish was unhappy when Siddaramaiah allocated him the portfolio of housing instead of a powerful one earlier. Now if he sacks from cabinet he may turn rebellious.
Ramya, who was abroad for several months, recently returned to India. Former Union minister SM Krishna is reportedly rallying behind Ramya for her inclusion in the Cabinet. Meanwhile speculations have that Congress might field her for elections to the Legislative Council to facilitate her appointment as minister. So will Siddaramayya reward Ramya
