Congress makes MLAs sign anti-defection affidavit

Turncoat politics have become common practice in both the states. The Operation Akarsh scheme which was conceived and launched by Telanagana Chief Minister to decimate the Congress and TDP in Telangana State was quickly adopted by ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh state.
Congress and TDP suffered in Telangana and its YSRCP which turned as victim in Andhra Pradesh. MLA'S have been shifting loyalties and party leaders trying hard time to pacify them. Now Congress party leadership from West Bengal have come up with a remediation for the practice. The Congress party won 44 seats in the recent elections and become the main opposition party. Some of congress MLA'S reportedly planning to jump the fence.
West Bengal PCC chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has taken measures to prevent the MLA'S who are planning to defect to the Trinamool Congress party. The PCC Chief made the 44 MLAs to sign a notarised affidavit which says that they will not defect to the Trinamool Congress party under any circumstances. The PCC chief made the MLAs sign the affidavit in the recent party meeting. Let's see whether same practice will be implemented at Telugu states.
