Congress Seeing Munugode By-Poll As Semifinals to General Polls?

Congress rebel MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy's actions of leaving the party and stepping down as an MLA brought by-election to the state. Munugode will see an intense fight soon. The three major parties in the state took the elections seriously and started making plans for the same.
More than BJP and TRS, the by-poll is very crucial for the grand old Congress party. Raj Gopal Reddy who held the MLA post shifted his loyalties to BJP. Winning the by-election is very crucial for Congress as it is a prestige issue. The leadership is making the required arrangements for this.
To say how prestigiously the Congress party took the by-election, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee campaign committee chairman Madhu Yashki termed the upcoming by-election as the semi-final for the party hinting that general elections would be the finals.
Talking about the by-poll, the Congress leader said that the election is a game plan of BJP and TRS as the parties want to show everyone that they are political rivals. But in reality, both parties are friendly and they are sending a false narrative to the people.
After Raj Gopal Reddy bid goodbye to the party, there are many media reports which say that a few other leaders are looking at other parties as they are not happy with the party and Revanth Reddy's leadership. If Congress loses the by-polls then there is a possibility of Congress leaders looking at other options. If this happens then Reanth eddy would be in a tight spot.
