Congress To Following Hindutwa Line...

Slowly but surely, the Congress is learning its lessons. It is now coming to realise that it can no longer ignore the nationalist sentiment and Hindutwa. Though its experiments with soft Hindutwa did not yield electoral dividends, it feels that it cannot allow the Hindutwa plank to the BJP alone.
So, when the Congress wanted to protest against the poor allocations to the state governments which are fighting Corona, it decided to ask the people of Punjab to hoist tricolour flags atop their homes. This was the Congress way of trying to become pro-nationalist. Secondly, it asked the people to blow conchs. Sankhanaad is considered a quintessential Hindu ritual and is performed during poojas, aartis and other auspicious events. It was senior Congress leader Jitin Prasada, who first offered this idea. CM Amarinder Singh readily accepted this and asked the party workers to publicise about hoisting the national flag and making Sanhanaad.
The Congress organised this protest to slam the Central Government, which it said was partial towards the BJP-run state governments and was ignoring the interests of the non-BJP run governments.
