Congress To Offer Uttam Kumar Reddy A Higher Post?

The Bharat Bachao Rally of the Congress organised in Delhi and it was a huge success as hundreds of Congress leaders and workers joined the rally. Congress Leaders and workers from Telangana attended the rally, some of them booked railway coaches to reach Delhi. Some leaders caught flights to reach Delhi.
As it was a huge success and the All India Congress Committee (AICC) is likely to be reshuffled in January, next year, the Telangana Congress leaders are hoping to get general secretary, Working Committee membership and secretary posts. They also expect that the appointment of a new president to the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) would be taken up after the reshuffle of the AICC executive in January. TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy too might be replaced as he is now an MP and the party might need his services more in Delhi.RC Khuntia, AICC in-charge for Telangana affairs may be replaced. The former chief minister of Maharashtra Prithviraj Chauhan might be entrusted with Telangana responsibilities.
Recently, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy called on AICC President Sonia Gandhi and reportedly offered to quit the post owing moral responsibility for the defeat of Congress candidate the recent Huzurnagar Assembly bypoll.
