Congressman Talks How Indians Pay High Taxes In US!

Over the years the percentage of the Indian population in the United States increased largely. Among Asians, Indians are the highest ethnic group living in America. The Indian population who are called Indian-Americans are in respectable positions like doctors, teachers, and public representatives.
Now another thing has come out which says that the Indian-Americans are paying 6 percent of total taxes. However, their percentage is just one percent and despite this, they account for six percent of taxpayers which is huge. This tells the position where the Indian-origin people are in the land of opportunities, America.
The data is revealed by a Congressman addressing the house. Addressing fellow house members Congressman Rich McCormick said that Indians have a friendly nature and are friends with everyone. In his first speech, the Congressman showered massive praise on the Indian community.
Adding further, the Republican Congressman who represents Georgia said that Indians are very productive and they won’t cause any issues or troubles. Shedding light on the good nature of Indians, the Congressman said that one in every five Indians are doctors and they are basically good people.
"Although they make up about one per cent of American society, they pay about six per cent of the taxes. They're amongst the top producers, and they do not cause problems. They follow the laws," the Congressman said in the house.
There is nothing wrong with what the Congressman said. Very rarely do we see Indians doing anything wrong there. Indians are among the highest targeted communities there. Records say that the attacks on the Indian community increased massively when Covid hit the world.
Despite the attacks, Indians did not hit the roads seeking protection from the authorities. They seek protection from the authorities peacefully following all the due procedures. After they become American citizens, Indian-origin people follow the law and order and abide by the rules.
Even in the workforce, Indians are the top preference for employers. They prefer Indian-origin people more than the local Americans given the efficiency and skills we have. The US administration is also taking measures to address the growing Visa applications.
