Controversy over 'Vulgar' School Uniform

A row erupted over the design of a school uniform in Kerala. Actually, The issue began when a photographer named Zachariah Ponkunnam shared the image of three girls wearing uniform of St Alphonsa Public School in Aruvithura on his Facebook page. He then alleged the design of the uniform was obscene.
Over 5,000 People shared the Facebook post in a day. While some of the termed design of the uniform 'vulgar', Others opined it's not right to objectify minors. Few people commented the creative brain behind the school uniform might have made costumes for item numbers in the past. Even a complaint was lodged with Child Rights Commission against the school authorities over inappropriate uniform.
However, School Principal Sr Rosily clarified the uniform in the photograph is no way similar to the original uniform. She alleged, 'The photograph was morphed using photoshop. A police complaint was lodged against those behind the negative campaign. Further action will be taken depending on Commission's report'.
