Corona Cases Rise To 2627 In Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh state has reported 66 new cases of COVID-19 out of 11,337 tests conducted on Sunday taking the total in the state to 2627. As many as 29 persons were discharged on Sunday after recovery.
According to a media bulletin on health released by the government, as of Sunday, there were 764 active COVID-19 cases in the state, and the number of recovered cases stands at 1807 in total. Meanwhile, the death toll remains at 56 till date.However, the government has not released the district wise COVID-19 data, which has received severe criticism.
On the other hand, 17 new positive cases are reported to be from foreign Returnees with 12 from Kuwait, three from Dubai(SA) and two from Qatar while there are more than 150 cases reported from the migrants who are not part of the state so far. After migrants, the foreign evacuees' cases are being reported ever since the centre and state governments have started evacuating the people of the state stranded in the different countries.
