Corona Infections In AP Heading Towards 7 Lakh-Mark

Andhra Pradesh continues to witness a drop of fresh Coronavirus over the past few days. The average of fresh cases has also come down rapidly, which is a very good sign.
As per the information provided by the media bulletin, the health officials have tested 71,806 samples in the last 24 hours, and as many as 6,133 patients were found positive for the virus.
With the latest addition of the fresh cases, the total caseload in the state pass surged 6.9 lakh-mark and rose to 6,93,484.
The fatalities in connection with COVID-19 in the state mounted to 5780, with 48 patients breathing their last battling their last in the last 24 hours.
On a brighter note, as many as 7075 patients were declared cured of the virus and got discharged from the hospitals in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 6,29,211 patients have been cured of the virus. There are 58,445 active cases in the state.
East Godavari(97,174), West Godavari(66707), Chittor(61858), Anantapur(57375), Prakasham(48249), Kadapa(43818) continue to be the worst-affected regions in the state.
