Corona Infections Pass Surged 34 Lakh-Mark In India

India reported as many as 76,472 fresh Coronavirus infections and the total cases zoomed to 34,63,973. This is the third consecutive day, India reported more than 75,000 new cases in a single day.
India straightaway reported over 1,000 fatalities for the fourth consecutive day with 1,019 casualties taking the total casualties to 62,713. With this, India overtook Mexico and turned out as the third worst-hit nation in terms of fatalities.
Maharashtra (747,995), Tamil Nadu (409,238), Andhra Pradesh (403,616), Karnataka (318,000), and Uttar Pradesh (213,824) are the worst-affected states in the country.
On a brighter note, the recoveries which have been recovering gradually mounted to a whopping 26,48,998. The recovery rate rose to 76.47 percent. Currently, there are 7,52,424 active cases in India.
In the last 24 hours, Telangana reported 2751 fresh cases, and the toll of the total cases mounted to 1,20,166. So far, 808 patients lost their lives battling the dreaded virus.
On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh surpassed the 4 lakh-mark with over 10,000 fresh Pandmeic cases reported on Friday. 3,714 patients succumbed to the contagious disease so far.
Globally, as many as 24,888,299 patients have been infected with the virus so far, while over 17,276,321 patients managed to recover from the virus. 840,431 patients succumbed to the dreaded virus.
