Corona Lockdown Leaves 3 Crore Americans Without Jobs

All is not well in the US. The Corona virus is exposing the chinks in the mighty armour of the US. It's soft underbelly is now getting exposed. The Corona scare is hitting the US lifestyle hard and the job profiles are changing. The job insecurity is growing and the fears of financial brankruptcy are rising.
The latest example is that of the massive protests in the US on the May Day. Many people took to streets in violation of the Lockdown rules and chanted "No Money No Rent." They also wanted the government to protect their jobs and provide direct financial help. Many of the protesters said that they are not in a position to pay their home rents. They wanted the Government to give specific assurances about their jobs and finances. This shows that the super power is actually in a state of quandary and does not know how to handle the crisis. It has also shown that the US economy is a mere bubble that could burst anytime.
The US is one of the worst hit countries and the economy is so badly hit that over three crore persons have filed as being unemployed. Many employees have lost their jobs. Already over 66000 people have died due to Corona. At least 11 lakh persons have been affected by Corona.
