The positive cases of novel coronavirus are increasing rapidly in Andhra Pradesh day day day which has surpassed 800 as of now. Following this, the authorities have focused to trace out the reasons for the rapid spread of the virus.

Four districts top the list with the most positive cases. Guntur, Kurnool, Krishna, and Nellore are the districts with more number of cases when compared to other districts. Srikakulam and Vizianagaram continue to report zero COVID-19 cases.

The authorities focused mainly on the Guntur district as 177 positive cases were reported in the district so far. They have found out that the Tablighi incident held at the Nizamuddin area of Delhi is the reason for the rapid growth of the positive cases.

It has been reported that 180 members have attended the religious congregation held at the national capital Delhi. Out of the attendees, 15 members were declared as the primary contacts of the COVID-19.

The authorities have set up 12 Red Zones in the district. While 23 persons were discharged from the hospital, eight deaths were claimed in these zones. Small areas around Guntur also reported positive cases.

The main problem that arises here is unable to trace the secondary contacts of the COVID-19 virus and conduction medical tests for them.
