S.I In Vijayawada Tests Positive For COVID-19

The positive cases of novel coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh are increasing rapidly as a policeman who renders his services in Vijayawada. He works as an S.I at the City Commissionerate.
As a result, people who came in contact with the infected S.I were sent to the quarantine centers accordingly. Two S.I. who work at different stations stay at the same house. One of the S.I.s tested positive after he is suffering from a cough.
It is believed that the S.I returned from Hyderabad recently. Following this, his family members were sent to quarantine accordingly and tests were being conducted for around 60 members working at two police stations.
Krishna district is one of the worst-hit districts in the state as the positive cases of COVID-19 have surpassed 100 in the district. Many areas in the districts were declared as the Red Zones by the authorities.
