COVID-19 Positive Cases Increase In Rajahmundry From A Woman
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 April 2020 9:51 AM GMTDespite the government and officers trying hard to create awareness about the fatal coronavirus among the public, people are not understanding the seriousness of the spread of the pandemic.
In one such incident, a married woman who hails from Rajahmundry of Andhra Pradesh led to the spread of the virus to three of her neighbors and an RMP doctor along with her family members.
Going into details, the lady visited Rajahmundry from Kurnool via train. Though she is suffering from a fever she did not inform anyone and met people. With fever becoming severe she went to an RMP doctor and the doctor too tested positive for the virus.
Apart from the doctor, her family members and three other neighbors were also infected with the dreaded virus and all of them were sent to the quarantine centers and Mangalavaram Pet and Aava road areas were also declared as the Red Zones by the authorities.
The authorities are looking at the issue and gathering information on why the RMP doctor did not alert the authorities when the lady came to him with the symptoms of fever. To date, 722 cases were reported in AP, with 75 fresh COVID-19 cases reported in the state.
