Chief Minister KCR is said to be seriously planning to announce the chiefs for various corporations. If sources are to be believed, then KCR might announce the chairpersons in February 2020. He is said to be holding discussions with party's working president KTR.
Sources said the names would be linked to the party's performance in the upcoming municipal elections. Those under whose jurisdiction, the party does well, will get the coveted posts. Sources said February 17 being KCR's birthday, the announcement could be made to coincide with the date. Also, the municipal elections would by then be over and the posts could be given on the basis of the performance of the aspirants. Also, the TRS plenary would be held in April. So, the better performing leaders would be rewarded by then.
The party has already given key posts to leaders like Palla Rajeshwara Reddy and B Vinod. Several MLAs, who could not be given ministries due to various considerations like caste, geographical reasons, would be given party posts, sources say.
