Chittoor Mayor's Murder Case: Corporator Commits Suicide

In a shocking incident corporate of 36th Division in Chittoor town, Shivaprasad Reddy (46) on Thursday committed suicide.The corporator was questioned by Police in connection with the daylight murder of mayor Katari Anuradha and her husband.
As per reports Shivaprasad was taken to police station for questioning on Wednesday and he came back at 10am on Thursday. After returning home he locked himself in the room and hanged from a ceiling fan. Family members of the corporator has alleged that police's attempted to illegally fix him in the case.
Siva Prasad Reddy is a follower of MLA C.K. Babu.The Mayor of Chittoor town Katari Anuradha who was shot dead on November 14 th in her chamber at Chittoor Municipal Corporation complex . Chintu alias Chandrashekar, the nephew of the deceased Katari Mohan confessed to his crime. 23 more have also been taken into custody in the sensational double murder case.
