Amit Shah Son Jay Shah Is Not Defamed!

This is the hot topic now. BJP president Amit Shah' son Jay Shah grabbed the headlines recently as he filed a civil defamation suit against The Wire. It is known that The Wire website published an article on Jay Shah's company turnover(It has increased by 16,000 times after BJP came to power at the center) with a title 'The golden tough of Jay Amit Shah'.

Upset with the report, Jay Shah filed defamation suit worth Rs.100 crores on The Wire management and the journalist. Considering the petition, the civil court temporarily banned the article and asked the media not to publish the contents of the article in any form. The Wire appealed on the ban on Mirzapur, Ahmedabad Civil Court. The advocate representing The Wire argued that banning the article is nothing but obstructing the freedom of expression. Considering the appeal, the court has lifted the ban.

After the Court's ruling, The Wire claimed that it is a success for the Freedom of expression. They claimed that they have written the article based on the information provided by Jay Shah to the government. Whatever be the case, now the ban is lifted on The Wire article. which means there is no defamation!
