Covid-19 Fear: Maharashtra Re-Imposes 50 percent restriction

To curb the fresh Coronavirus infections, the Maharashtra government announced the re-imposition of Corona restrictions. The restrictions will remain effective in the state till March 31st.
As per the new announcement, the cinema halls/hotels/restaurants have been directed to follow 50 percent restrictions till March 31st. The government has also warned that if the restrictions were violated, they will be shut till the pandemic outbreak ends.
According to the Standard operating procedure(SOP), the offices will work with only 50 percent attendance till March 31st. The remaining staff will be work from home. The offices have been directed to make the required arrangements to check the body temperature and hand sanitizers should also be made available.
The social, cultural, political, and religious gatherings have been suspended in the state until further notice. If the restrictions are violated, the owner of these places will be slapped with a penalty and the property will be closed.
On Monday, Maharashtra witnessed 15,051 new Covid-19 cases which in turn takes the total toll of the pandemic cases to 23,29,464.
As a precautionary measure, the Uddhav Thackeray-led government has earlier imposed curfew and lockdown in a few regions to contain the virus spread. However, these measures remained failed attempts.
