Covid-19 In India: 15 States, Union Territories Report Zero Fatalities

The Union Health Ministry said that in the past 24 hours, fifteen states and Union Territories, including the national capital Delhi have registered zero fatalities related to Coronavirus.
On the other hand, the daily count of Coronavirus cases in India has also been decreasing over the past few weeks. The infections ,which have been decreased gradually have fallen to 11,067 fresh infections in the past 24 hours.
Compared to the previous week, the count of states and Union Territories that reported zero deaths have increased. In the last week, seven states and Union Territories have reported zero deaths which have doubled now.
Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar, Tripura, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Nagaland, Mizoram, and Lakshadweep, are the seven states and Union Territories that reported zero deaths in last week.
However, citing the serosurvey, the Centre said that more than 70 percent of the country’s population is still vulnerable to the pandemic and urged the public to follow the precautionary measures.
The survey has also found out that 25 percent population in India has antibodies against the Covid-19, while the percent goes to over 75 percent in the metro cities in India.
