Covid fear in Hyderabad, over 500 cases reported in seven days

The ongoing Coronavirus is ringing the danger bells in Telangana with fresh infections soaring at regular intervals. Educational institutions and workplaces have been registering infections.
Whats, even more, scarier is the fact that in the last two days, more than 140 infections were reported from schools. The infections include students, teachers, and the staff of the institutions.
The GHMC region in Telangana continues to witness the highest cases in the state. Including 35 new infections, the GHMC region added not less than 511 new infections in the past 10 days.
People taking Coronavirus seriously and not following the appropriate Covid-19 behavior is also a reason for the spike in infections. The use of facemask and maintaining physical distance has come down.
On the other hand, medical authorities are also not working properly allegedly. It is said that they are not effectively tracing the contacts of the infected people as they would do earlier, which is resulting in an infections spike.
Medical experts are urging the people to not take Coronavirus for granted and appealed them to follow precautions like wearing a face mask and maintaining physical distance outdoors. Personal hygiene is a key, warned experts.
