Covid Fear Prompts Telangana to Advocate Wearing Facemasks!

Cut to Telugu state Telangana, no such directives or measures were issued. However, state health director Srinivasa Rao had urged the public to not take the Covid for granted and said that following the appropriate behaviour will work for everyone's good.
The Health Director said that taking vaccines and following measures like wearing a mask and maintaining distance with others are the need of the hour and missing anyone in the list could be risky. Talking about masks, he said that wearing a mask in public places is mandatory and the violators will be slapped with a fine.
The director further added that those who don't wear a mask in public places will be slapped with a fine of Rs 1,000. Not just adults, even the kids have to take the vaccine doses. Booster doses for the age group of 60 are ready and the beneficiaries should take them, he maintained.
Saying that we are in summer and the wedding season is fast approaching, the health director had appealed to one and all that, not following the behavior will not only put the safety and health of the violator at risk but others will also have to face the risk.
