Adding more fears about the virus spread, an experts team constituted by the United Nations' World Meteorological Organization opined that, Covid-19 virus is likely to be transformed into a seasonal disease.
The team comprising 16 members maintained that the chances of respiratory disease turning into seasonal diseases are high and directed the countries to not ease the Covid-19 restrictions.
In the statement, the experts' committee said that, if the ongoing pandemic stays for several years, then the respiratory disease will emerge into a strong seasonal disease.
The experts' committee has stressed the importance of usage of facemask and maintaining physical distance outdoors and maintained that doing away with these steps would lead to a disaster.
The committee said that there is no strong evidence to prove that, changes in climate changes and weather conditions would impact the virus spread and urged everyone to follow the Covid-19 behaviour irrespective of climate condition.
