COVID-19 Positive Cases Surpass 600 In AP

In what it could be a shocker, the positive cases of COVID-19 reached 603 in Andhra Pradesh with 31 fresh cases reported in the last 24 hours. Out of 603 positive cases, 42 patients have recovered successfully and 15 patients lost their lives.
Looking at the over cases districts wise, Kurnool tops the list with 129 cases followed by Guntur with 126 cases followed by Nellore and Prakasham with 67 and 44 cases respectively.
To date, 13 patients each from Kadapa and Visakhapatnam districts were recovered and discharged accordingly, highest for any districts in the state followed by East Godavari and Krishna district with 6 and 4 discharges.
On the other hand, one lakh rapid testing kits were imported to AP from South Korea to enable the fast medical examinations where the COVID-19 tests can be done in 10 minutes.
