Many times, politician's sons are a real headache. They create all sorts of problems through their unscrupulous ways. They throw their weight around and bring disrepute to the politician-parent. CPM's top leader, national politburo member and Kerala's Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan is learning this the hard way. His son Benoy is proving to be a real headache for him.
Benoy is now being accused by a Bihari women of deceit and duping. She has filed a complaint saying that Benoy has duped her and raped her for many years with the promise of marrying her. She also claimed that she has an eight-year-old son out of their association and added that she was prepared to undergo any test, including the DNA test, to prove paternity. Her complaint has been filed in Kannore police station and the police have confirmed receiving the complaint. This is not the first time that Benoy faced police cases. Last year, he faced a case of financial irregularity when he duped a person to a tune of Rs 13 crore. In connection with this case, a travel ban has been imposed on him.
The CPM, which always prides itself as a non-corruptible party, is finding itself in a tricky position as Benoy's father Kodiyeri Balakrishnan is a high ranking party leader. He has so far not responded to these allegations. He has not even cared to explain to the party about the incident.
