Crowds Shout Slogans Against China Rajappa

AP's deputy chief minister and home minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa is swimming against the tide in Samalkot, from where he is seeking a re-election. There is resentment at his being not accessible all the five years that he was a minister. In several villages, the villagers are sending him back and are shouting slogans against him.
On Sunday night, he went to Hussainpuram village in Samakot mandal. As he entered the villages, a large number of villages stopped his convoy and wanted him to go back. They questioned him as to why he has failed to address their problems. They sought to know why no one from the village was alloted land. They also asked him as to why the pollution-related problems of the villagers were not solved. Even as the villagers were complaining, China Rajappa's convoy tried to move on. Angry villagers then shouted slogans and stopped the convoy from moving ahead. They threatened to teach him a 'fitting lesson' to China Rajappa for ignoring their demands.
Chinna Rajappa tried to convince them. But, the crowd was unrelenting. So, Rajappa had to wind up his campaign post haste and return from the village.
