CS Reacts On CBN's Cabinet Meeting On May 10th

Chief Secretary LV Subramaniam responded over the decision of AP Caretaker CM Chandrababu Naidu to conduct cabinet meeting on May 10th inspite of the Election Code of Conduct. He claimed to have received the note regarding the Cabinet Meeting from the Principal Secretary of AP CM. 'We asked them to inform about the decisions to be taking during the Cabinet Meeting. We would permit the Cabinet Meeting only if the Election Commission offers its consent,' he made it clear.
Former Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao breathed fire on TDP Supremo for allegedly trying to violate the Election Code by holding the Cabinet Meeting before the announcement of results. He stressed, 'Chandrababu Naidu has to inform Election Commission about the necessity to hold cabinet meeting in advance to obtain the permission. Officials won't raise any objection if rules aren't violated'.
IYR accused Chandrababu Naidu of deceiving the people of AP with false statements on Polavaram Project. He didn't hesitate to say, Polavaram won't be completed before the next 5 years if the works happening at present are any indication. Before elections, TDP claimed Polavaram will be completed by June this year. And now, Chandrababu Naidu says it could be completed by next year.
