When the Covid entered the world two years back, everyone thought that animals and pets are safe from the deadly virus. Proving the argument wrong, several animals in various Zoological Parks have tested positive for the virus raising many fears and concerns.

As the cases are going up rapidly, the authorities of the Zoo parks have swung into action to take precautionary measures. The curators at the Zoological parks are making sure that the required measures are taken without a fail. The staff at the parks kept themselves busy with the exercise.

Media reports say that the curators at the Nehru Zoological park located in pearl city Hyderabad have directed the staff to check and monitor the health of the animals at the park. The health conditions of the animals in the various enclosures are being examined.

Special veterinary doctors were reportedly deployed at the facility to monitor the health condition of the animals. Though the animals are in good condition as of now, the exercise was carried out by the curators as a safety measure.

The staff was carefully examining the routine and health conditions of the animals at the Zoo park. Despite the staff and curators following the Covid protocols like wearing facemasks and following personal hygiene, the exercise was started as a safety measure.

It has been widely reported that the staff members are making sure that the previous scenes are not reported. Earlier, the Covid virus had made its way into the Zoological park after a few animals had come in contact with the deadly respiratory disease.

Media reports had earlier emerged that as many as eight Lions were tested positive for the Covid virus. The Covid detection tests were carried out by the experts at the Zoological Park after the animals reportedly developed the virus symptoms.

After collecting the samples from the lions that tested positive for the virus, the same was sent to the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB). The tests have come back positive reportedly. Though animals contracting Covid were reported in the western nations, such situations reported from India made many heads turn.
