Cyber Cons Targeting Victims In the Name of 'The Kashmir Files!

The recent outing from Bollywood 'The Kashmir Files' is a sensation in the country. The film had started its box office start with humble collections and now the film had beaten several big films in terms of rising profits. The Kashmir Files is slowly inching towards the elite 100 crores club.
The film is getting terrific response from all the corners and the dignitaries like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah have appreciated the makers of the film. The Bharatiya Janata Party ruled states have made the film tax-free while a few states have provided leave for the employees to watch the film.
The Hindi film also landed in a few controversies. A section of activists claimed that Kashmir Files had shown only half-baked truths and there is another side of the story. Several Hindu groups have owned the film and they lauded the makers for bringing the dark stories in front of the world.
Seeing the support the Hindus are giving for the film, a few fraudsters have decided to encash that. On the pretext of helping Kashmiri Hindus, the fraudsters are asking for donations that too online payments. Later, they hack the accounts and transfer the money from the accounts making them empty.
Such incidents have been reported in various areas and the issue came to the notice of cops. Reacting to the same, the cops urged everyone to not believe such people or else they would have to lose their money.

The Cops urged everyone to fall into such traps. They have provided toll-free numbers to report such crimes.
