D Srinivas revolts against Congress

Former PCC Chief D Srinivas expressed displeasure on being sidelined in the Congress party to which he was loyal for four decades. He claimed to be deeply hurt over the fact that party leadership has denied him MLC seat and none of the top leaders tried to come in touch with him for assuring that justice will be done.
D Srinivas alleges an AICC Leader is responsible for denying him an MLC seat in the recent polls. He feels Congress leadership has ignored his contribution to the party in bringing it to power for two consecutive terms (2004, 2009).
Sources say, D Srinivas is likely to join TRS on July 6th. The Ruling Party has promised to offer a respectable position to this veteran eyeing the Munnuru Kapu community.
However, D Srinivas says he hasn't taken any decision yet on joining TRS. He did confirm refusing an offer from BJP.
