Dachepalli Rape Accused Commits Suicide

Sexual Assault of a 9-Year-Old Girl on Wednesday evening by an elderly man identified as Subbaiah in Dachepalli Town of Guntur District sparked an uproar. The accused fled from the location upon committing the crime. Locals have alerted the cops after finding the girl in an unconscious state. The victim was shifted to Guntur General Hospital and she has been recuperating.
Enraged by the heinous crime, Locals vandalized the house of accused and blocked the highway for several hours. Cops gave an assurance that the Accused will be nabbed at the earliest and stringent punishment would be awarded for what he did.
Within couple of days after committing the crime, Subaiah has committed suicide due to humiliation. When his Family Members slammed him for resorting to such an act, The Accused told them that he is going to die before switching off his mobile. Quickly, Family Members brought this phone conversation to the notice of Police. Last call spoken by Subbaiah was traced at Thangeda Village. Cops suspect he might have killed himself by jumping into the krishna river. Search operation was launched along the river to recover the mortal remains.
