Dadi Veerabhadra Rao opens up at being sidelined in YSRCP

Dissidence is raising its ugly head in the YSRCP even before the reconstitution of the council of ministers. One expected that there would be dissidence after the ministry is rejigged. But, senior leader and former minister Dadi Veerabhadra Rao has raised a banner of revolt even before the rejig is done.

He has expressed dissatisfaction at not being invited to the inauguration of the newly constituted districts. He said that despite being the state general secretary of the party, there was no invitation for him.

He said he has toiled hard to achieve Anakapalli district for decades. But, when the district was actually carved out, the officials did not invite him, he said.

Dadi Veerabhadra Rao has been unhappy for quite some time. He has a running feud with Anakapalle MLA Gudivada Amarnath. Amid the buzz that Amarnath would be made a minister, he has been expressing his ire at being sidelined in politics. His grouse is that he has not even been made an MLC.

Thus, Dadi Veerabhadra Rao has opened up against the government and the ruling party. He is the first one after Raghuramakrishnam Raju to raise a banner of revolt.
There is also a buzz that he might join the Jana Sena ahead of the 2024 elections and contest from Anakapalle. Let’s wait and see how YS Jagan will react to this dissidence!!
