Another Family Member of former Chief Minister late NT Rama Rao is all set to take a plunge into politics. Daggubati Chenchuramu (S/o Purandeswari & Venkateswara Rao) is mulling to continue the family legacy. He is likely to contest from Parchur Assembly Constituency in the next elections.
Actually, Daggubati Venkateswara Rao represented Parchur Constituency in Prakasam District five times as MLA. He emerged victorious while contesting on TDP and Congress tickets here. So, Daggubati Family preferred this segment as a safe bet for the launch of Chenchuramu.
Venkateswara Rao retired from active politics after the end of his term in 2014. Currently, TDP Leader Sambasiva Rao has been representing Parchuru Segment. If there is no alliance between TDP-BJP, Chenchuramu might contest from here on the saffron ticket. The situation gets complicated if the ties continue for the next election.
