NTR won't even get 5,000 Votes: Chandrababu

Daggubati Venkateswara Rao is the first person in NTR's Family to join Telugu Desam Party. He now disclosed how some of the topbrass leaders like Chandrababu Naidu, KCR and Ashok Gajapathi Raju became TDP Members.
Chandrababu Naidu's Entry: 'Chandrababu is a Congress Minister when NTR floated TDP. NTR decided to hold Mahanadu in Tirupati few months before 1983 Assembly Polls. I went to Chandrababu's House to request him to join Telugu Desam. He refused the proposal saying Film Actors can't survive in politics. He even said NTR won't even get 5,000 votes as he won't bribe people. By evening, I had seen the headline in Newspaper...Chandrababu announced that he will contest against NTR. Within one or two months after TDP formed the Government, Chandrababu joined TDP but his entry was opposed by few MLAs. Later, A Committee was formed and he was permitted to be a party member based on the report. Interestingly, Chandrababu stopped his political guru, in Congress, from joining TDP before 1983 Polls. He himself shifted loyalties within months after TDP formed the Government. Babu doesn't even trust his shadow and tried to suppress me as he is against the idea of two power centers in TDP. Whenever NTR wants me to make me a Minister, Babu's Camp used to make Eenadu print the headline - 'Alludiki Andalam'. Hence, NTR dropped the idea in the last minute. As this repeated twice, NTR made me Minister without even giving prior information to anyone'.
KCR's Entry: 'KCR met Me before the 1983 Election. He introduced himself as Siddipet Youth Congress Leader and expressed his wish to join TDP. I myself took him to NTR's Room and then he was offered the ticket'.
Ashok Gajapathi Raju's Entry: 'When Ashok Gajapathi Raju came to join TDP, I told him very clearly that his Elder Brother who joined the party much before him will be made minister even if he becomes an MLA. I asked him to join TDP if he agrees for this proposal. Ashok Gajapathi Raju accepted it wholeheartedly'.
