Daggubati Venkateswara Rao and his Son Hitesh Chenchuram met YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Sunday. This development added fuel to the reports of Father & Son planning to join YCP and Hitesh Chenchuram contesting from Parchur Constituency.
Six months ago, Daggubati Venkateswara Rao predicted Praja Sankaloa Yatra will become successful and fetches good mileage for YCP.
Why did Daggubatis prefer YCP? Both Daggubati Venkateswara Rao and Purandeswari have always fought against Chandrababu Naidu. So, Joining TDP is out of question for them. BJP have no future in AP after denying Special Category Status. YCP and Jana Sena are the only two options before Hitesh Chenchuram. And the Political Family believes YCP is much more stronger than JSP and it will guarantee long political career.
Though her Husband and Son might join YCP, Purandeswari might continue in BJP. She is hopeful of bagging Rajya Sabha Seat from any of the BJP-ruled States after the Lok Sabha Polls.
