Dalit MLA who called Jagan names, is now back in YSRCP
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Oct 2019 12:41 PM GMTJupudi Prabhakara Rao, who ditched YS Jagan after 2014 elections, joined the TDP, is back to the YSRCP. On Tuesday, he became a member of the YSRCP in the presence of chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Prabhakar Rao was made an MLC in the TDP regime and he revelled in criticising the YSRCP and Jagan as a TDP member. But, now that the YSRCP is back in power and Jagan is the chief minister, he has come back to the YSRCP.
He is now praising YS Jagan for making five Dalits minister. One Dalit is the deputy chief minister and this shows Jagans commitment to the Dalit uplift, he says. He said that the people have voted YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to power in the hope that he would bring back the Rajanna Rajyam. He now says he was wrong in leaving the YSRCP and said he would correct his mistakes this time.
Similarly, former Rajahmundry Urban MLA Akula Satyanarayana too has joined the YSRCP. Satyanarayana, who won as an MLA on BJP ticket, has later resigned the BJP and joined the Jana Sena. He contested and lost the 2019 Assembly elections. On Tuesday, he has joined the YSRCP in the presence of YS Jagan. PCC leader Dasu Venkat Rao has also joined the YSRCP.
