Dalits protest Demanding cancellation of Thota Trimurthulu's MLC Post

YSRCP MLC Thota Trimurthulu has faced the flack of the Dalits for one more time as they staged protest demanding cancellation of his nomination as MLC.
Ambedkar Yuvajana sangam and Mala mahanadu have protested against him. As a bid to demend that he should be removed the post, the protestors have tonsured their heads.
The Dalit leaders found fault with the Andhra Pradesh government nominating Thota Trimurthulu, prime accused in Dalit Head Tonsured incident.
The protests have been started since the government annouced Thota Trimurthulu as one of the four candidates, who will be nominated to the Upper House under the Governor's Quota.
To the unversed, Thota Trimurthulu, who was an MLA back in 1996 was accused of allegedly tonsuring the heads of two Dalit men in Ramachandrapuram constituency.
