Former deputy chief minister Damodara Rajanarsimha seems to have got over the shock administered by his wife Padmini Reddy. On Sunday, Damodara made a whirlwind tour of Andhole constituency in Medak district. His wife Padmini too accompanied him all through his whistle-stop tour.
It may be recalled that his wife Padmini created a flutter by joining the BJP recently. This was a too much of a shock and a massive loss of face for Damodara Rajanarsimha. He managed to bring her round. By evening, she joined the Congress again. This was a major relief for the Congress Party in general and Damodara in particular. Damodara is Congress candidate from Andhole. The TRS fielded former journalist Kranthi from Andhole, while the BJP fielded sitting MLA Babu Mohan.
On Sunday, Damodara and his wife toured Almanipet, Andhole, Kansanpalle and other villages. From the morning the couple went round the streets, met the people and interacted with the.
