AP Reports 68 Fresh Cases, Toll Reached 2407

Andhra Pradesh reported 68 fresh positive cases of the disease in the past 24 hours which takes the toll of the positive cases to 2407. These fresh cases are the biggest surge of the cases in the state so far.
The state health department issued a health bulletin in this regard which states that 9,159 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and 68 out of them tested positive for the disease.
In the last 24 hours, one person succumbed to the fatal disease and the total fatalities of the disease reached 53. On the other hand, 1639 patients were completely recovered from the disease and discharged from hospital taking the toll of the active cases in the country to 715.
Kurnool, Guntur, Krishna, and Nellore are the worst affected districts in the state with the disease. While Kurnool and Guntur report around 46% of the total cases which makes them the hotspots of the virus.
